What is really the best way to revise? According to the Cat Book, the best memory strategy is the method of loci, or similar. This article tells you what up-to-date psychology actually recommends as the best way to learn stuff and make it stick.

Testing yourself turns out to work well, as does pretending to teach the stuff you have to learn. Highlighting and underlining is a waste of time.
